Diets for men
Men generally are more reluctant than women to follow a diet, perhaps because they do not pay much attention to aesthetics as they issue or whatever. Diets for men are taken into account in many occasions when any disease, such as treatment or as a solution to health problems.
But this should not be. Men’s diets must provide all the nutrients they need each according to their metabolism, physical activity and mental and other factors. Besides a good diet is the best way to prevent many diseases. Many of which are very common and exclusively against the male gender.
Men are more prone to cardiovascular disease and prostate cancer is a disease that strikes only men. In addition to some customs that are very different between men and women all this can and must be prevented with proper diet.
One of the largest and most common problems in the diet of men and some women too, is in the social custom of going to the bar or sightseeing, eating a sandwich and drink alcoholic beverages such as beer or wine. This can lead to an unbalanced diet and even worse if habitually repeated the same foods, overloading the body with fats, sugars and carbohydrates and without input from the rest of the nutrients our body needs.
It is essential to always respect meals, especially breakfast and lunch that should never be skipped. In the men’s diet can not miss the antioxidant-rich foods: Vegetables, citrus fruits, grapes, peaches, apricots, purple plums and berries.
Vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, squash, sugar beet and vegetables from the cabbage family should also be present daily. Nor should we forget the nuts, of which we should consume a handful a day.
